There are a lot of of wedding photographers out there. Each one of them has their own way of doing things. Some have many different packages that you have to choose from. Some charge for all extra prints and albums and so on. Some have pricing systems that are just indecipherable. As often as not you wind up spending twice as much as you wanted or getting half as much as you would have liked.
So what makes me different?
Well, I want your wedding photography to be the simplest part of your wedding. There is enough to worry about and organise.
I can help by keeping things as simple as possible.
How can I do that?
Simple
Step 1, How long do you want me for?
Step 2, Do you want me to make you an album or do you just want a disc with all the photos?
Step 3, Call me to book me at which time I will send you an email or letter to confirm everything.
Step 4, One month before your wedding I will call you at a convenient time to discuss any final details.
That's it. Nothing more to it.
So why does no-one else work in this simple way?
I don't blame them. Most photographers make their money in the additional extras.
They have to offer an album and extra prints and so on because everyone else does. This adds a full days extra work. This means that for each wedding they are actually putting 2 or even 3 days work into your wedding photography. So each extra print and each extra portrait and each extra printed mug gives them extra money without costing them any extra work.
Well I'm trying something different. My hourly rate is set at what I think my time is worth and the price of the album mostly represents how much time I will have to put into it.
